Fresh Ink National Mentoring Program
Run by Australian Theatre for Young People, the Fresh Ink National Mentoring Program for emerging writers runs annually from April–December in selected states across Australia. The initiative has been running for 13 years in varying forms and engages industry professionals to mentor young writers.
Indea was selected for the Tasmanian wing of the program, supported by Archipelago Productions, with mentor Belinda Bradley.
Participants are guided through writing two works; a 15 minute play utilising two actors (presented on July 31st at the Moonah Arts Centre), and a 30 minute play utilising three actors (presented on December 19th at the Peacock Theatre).
